UNICUS

Identity verification that holds up against deepfakes

3D face, fingerprint and Colombian ID documents in one platform, with the evidence of every verification.

Face capture with the UNICUS SDK guide oval
01

3D liveness and face

Analyzes depth, texture and signals of real presence to build a 3D face map. Technology certified by iBeta (ISO/IEC 30107-3 levels 1 and 2) against photos, videos, screens, masks and AI-generated content.

Use cases: Digital onboarding, account recovery

02

ID document

Reads the Colombian ID card, compares its photo with the live face and detects substituted or manipulated photos with a model trained on Colombian documents.

Use cases: Onboarding, loan applications

03

Fingerprint

Verification with fingerprint readers at branches and service points; in production at financial institutions.

Use cases: Branches, banking agents, kiosks

04

Authentication and passwordless access

An enrolled customer confirms their identity with their face before a sensitive operation or to sign in without a password.

Use cases: Disbursements, transfers, data changes

05

Finds whether a face already exists in your database under another identity; also available on-premises for your own galleries.

Use cases: Repeat fraud, investigations

06

Age verification

Confirms legal age before granting access.

Use cases: Online gaming, restricted products

07

Evidence record

Every verification stores its result, date and time, the person’s consent and an audit trail, available in the portal.

Use cases: Impersonation claims, audits

Developers

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between 2D and 3D biometrics?

2D analyzes a flat image; 3D uses depth and real-presence signals, which is why it holds up better against photos, videos and masks.

Do users need to install an app?

No. Users can verify from the browser or from your company’s app.

Does it work with fingerprints?

Yes, with fingerprint readers at physical locations.

Where is the data stored?

On AWS infrastructure, encrypted at rest and in transit. Details in our trust center.

How long does integration take?

It depends on the channel; the verification link requires no development on your side.
